Yeah that's me! Not very flattering huh?

Yesterday morning at 10am I got my wisdom teeth out. Before I went I had to take this sleeping pill and just like a few minutes after I took it I was gettting woozy and couldn't walk by myself so my dad helped me into the dentist's office and then one of the nurses had to walk me down the hall so I wouldn't fall. Then they put me in the chair and strapped me down (that was kinda creepy) and stuck me with an IV 2 different places in my arm. It hurt and I was kinda upset so the nurse was rubbing my head which felt really good. Then they put the anesthesia over my nose and then some type of medicine that made me itch all over...that was torture but after that I don't remember anything. They woke me up and took me to the recovery room and the nurse was telling my dad and I what I had to do and I can't remember a thing she said. Then they had to help me get in the car and the only thing I remember there was that the nurse said that maybe I would be a model someday cuz I'm tall. Then my dad asked me what I wanted to eat from the store and I tried 3 times to tell him but just got fed up cuz he didn't understand. So all yesterday I ate soft foods and had gauze in my mouth to stop the bleeding. UG! And of course I look like a chipmunk! And I have to eat only soft foods...lots of ice cream which is ok with me but...you always want what you can't have and I'm craving regular food. Wow...don't you all just want to get your wisdom teeth out now???

I had a really weird dream last night which involved Sarajevo! For some reason I was there and they were fixing the road and it had a huge ditch in it and a forest green van came speeding over the ditch and flipped over and landed on it's roof and no one got out so I guess they all died! Kinda creepy...then we were driving down the main road in Sarajevo and lo and behold there was a McDonald's! I was amazed at how fast that got up but was jealous that it happened after I left! Oh well, it was just a dream.

I have been working my butt off all day with school. I've been working since 9:30 this morning and it's 8pm now. I guess I would say that I've had a total of a 2 hour break. For lunch and supper. That's it. So let's see...I've been going for about 8 hours!!!! Ugg! This sucks! So anyways...one of the things I did today was take a Chemistry test and guess what I got...you guessed it...100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I've never done so well in Science in my LIFE! So you can probably guess I'm very excited.

FIRST CLASS!

We are spending Christmas at my grandparent's house in Iowa this year. So on Thursday we were going to take 2 flights, the first one to Detroit and then on to Rockford, but, as ALWAYS, things do not go as planned when airports or flying is involved. Our first plane was delayed and the second flight cancelled. So we were able to switch our flight to Minnieappolis, riding in...you guessed it...FIRST CLASS!!! We didn't have to pay extra for it either! It was fun! We got to board first, the flight attendant asked us if she could hang up our coats, we got as many drinks as we wanted and we were called by our names! I felt special! Then best of all my aunt and uncle live in Minnieappolis and they picked us up at the airport and took us to Mall of America for dinner (shrimp!) and some shopping while we were waiting for our last flight. I've always wanted to go to Mall of America! It was HUGE! But our luggage didn't make it but what's new? Nothing is ever smooth sailing when dealing with airports. Oh well...we're here now at least.

Oh the pain!

So I went to a friend's house on friday night for a sleepover...and i got there and she said we were going sledding! Great! I haven't sledded in like 3 years. So we go to this HUGE hill and it's like 10 at night so theres like only 3 other cars there so there's not many people, which is great! We go down a couple times and do some face plants and end up flying over these ramps that are like covered in ice. Then she decided we should all go together in one sled which was ok with us, but it was one of those ones that is really thin plastic and we went flying over those ramps and hit the ground, BOOM right on our butts, it hurt SO BAD! I'm like my tail bone is NEVER going to be the same again! But I had fun anyways, so now bending down hurts and certain sitting positions hurt and I sound like an old person complaining about being sore. Ah, well...the joys of winter! Oh and i've made a new fashion statement...wearing socks inside out and shirts backwards (with the tags in the front). None of these were on purpose though...it's one of those things where you're like..."hey, I don't remember it being backwards/inside out when i put it on!" So yeah...that's all I can think to say now...I'm SO tired from staying up on friday night...almost fell asleep in church today. Well, good night everyone! In honor of...

my new uncle! It's kinda weird but I just found out today that I have a new uncle! It's kinda like one of those "by the way..." My aunt Lori (on my mom's side) got married sometime in November before Thanksgiving so I now have a second uncle Steve (on the same side of the family). This is my aunt's second marriage so it wasn't like a huge deal that I just found out. Well I must study for yet another chem test...yeah!...can't you just hear the sarcasm dripping from my voice?

Not looking forward to...

getting my wisdom teeth out! Oh yes...I went for a consultation today and got to watch a neat little video (jk...ya know the saying "ignorance is bliss"? well I'm finding out that it is true in SO many cases (not just this one) and on SO many different levels!)that told me what they are going to do and why it needed to be done and the fact that there could be complications. yikes! It kinda freaked me out instead of made me feel better that I knew what was going to happen. But the good news is that my wisdom teeth are not fully grown so right now they're not crowding my other teeth but they could in the future if they are not dealt with now. so...on December 30 I will be sedated (yes! i couldn't stand it if i had to be awake to see the blood!) and will have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted...hahaha (creepy word!) then I get to eat soft foods for like a week...pudding, jello, ice-cream, applesauce...i'll like it for like the first 2 days then I think it will get old. and of course take PLENTY of pain drugs. and look like a chipmunk...not looking forward to that! but i guess it's better having it done now as a preventative measure than later when i have problems. so that's my excitement for December! ha! I would appreciate it if those who have had this done DON'T tell me horror stories...thanks! well, back to the books!

Yes!!! I can't believe it's the first of December already! And you know why I'm so happy? Cuz it's PAY DAY! Oh yes that special time that comes at the beginning of every month when your parents give you your allowance for...being alive i guess...i don't get paid to do chores cuz they say that i have to do them cuz i'm a part of the family. It's kinda nice mooching of my parents...and I've decided that I'm tired of answering the question "so what career are you pursuing?" I've changed my mind SO many times that next time I get asked I'm going to say "well, I've decided that I don't want to go to college and I don't want to get a job so I'm going to mooch off my parents for the rest of my life (with a straight face of course) ." I'd so do it just for the reactions I get. Ha!

On another note I guess i'm glad that Christmas is coming soon but I actually haven't thought about it much...it's kinda good kinda bad cuz at least i'm not focusing on all the gift stuff that everyone seems to get caught up in. Well good bye for now! Arrividerchi! (sp?)
